About Us
Welcome to Blue Whale Plumbing & Heating – where we’re making a big splash in the local plumbing and heating world.
Based in the Wilbury area of Letchworth Garden City, we’re your friendly neighbourhood plumbing and heating specialists serving Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock, Fairfield Park, Stotfold and all the surrounding areas.
Our Story
Back in 2020, after years of working for other plumbing and heating firms across the area, we decided it was time to dive in at the deep end and launch Blue Whale Plumbing & Heating.
Why Blue Whale, you ask? Well, our then 5-year-old son was absolutely mad about sealife and came up with the name for us – and we loved it!
Meet the team behind the tools: Alex, our fully qualified gas engineer and plumber, originally hails from sunny Spain but has been calling the UK home for over a decade.
After completing all his UK training and qualifications, he’s become something of a local legend when it comes to fixing the unfixable and installing the seemingly impossible.
Working alongside Alex is his partner Jodie, who handles absolutely everything else – from scheduling and customer service to making sure Alex remembers to eat lunch between jobs!
